Merry Christmas!
I am looking forward to the holidays with my family!
We had a party Sunday with the Avitia cousins and we had a blast!
We made ornaments and ginger houses..

Anthony and Jocelyn did an excellent job! Here are their houses:

Thanks to everybody for coming over and making this Christmas what it once was: all about the kids!

Jocelyn and Savannah had a blast! Jocelyn is a natural born cheerleader! And while most think Savannah is so innocent and sweet, here she is trying to find Swiper the Fox!! HAHA

The big boys! Anthony, Roberto and Giovanny!

Jacob is so cute!

Cousins: anthony, Jacob, Jordan and Savannah!
Jonathan aka. sleeping raindeer!
We went to the christmas day parade and it was colder than can be!! But it sure was nice to start the Christmas this way! :)

Jordan and Jacob had a blast putting the Christmas tree up!

I hope everybody has the best Christmas ever! God Bless! XOXO

Giving Back

So we did it! Brenda, Jordan, Alyssa, Jocelyn and I all went and did a day's worth of love.
First we went to Children's Hospital to give out goodies. It was amazing!
I was there in March with Jordan for a week so I kew all the rules we had to break ;)
So we took cookies, candy and books and toys for the kids. We packed the stroller and acted like we are visiting a friend and went and snuck around. We met so many amazing children and their families. It was hard for me to be there again but easy to get used to it again.
Brenda got scared but quickly began to enjoy the fun. Alyssa and Joecelyn had a blast running into kids and seeing them smile. Jordan had a hard time, he remembered being there and was in fear he was going to stay again. Poor baby!
So afterwards we had so many cookies left we went by my Uncle's nursing home. We caught them right at dinner time. The elderly were so grateful of our visit and candy.
Alot of them are diabetic so we had to ask them before giving them a bag of candy if they were. You would not believe how many of them fibbed! And you wouldn't believe how many of them were asleep waiting for dinner to be served! They were all very grateful to have comany and attention. Bless their hearts, they are so sweet. I love old people! :)
So that was my good deed. But I don't see it as that, I see it as God's work. We are his messangers and we are doing our job.
As for me~ job search is long and hard. trying to stick in here for now.. the economy is so bad and I can't go without pay for long.. So, suck it up Lydia!
Jordan is going to a new doctor on Friday and I am so excited! Thank you Brenda for the referral. I really hope we get it straightened out as to what is wrong with my baby..
Next week-Tia Nena is coming to town and we couldn't be more excited! Pictures coming soon...
XOXO

~November~

Hi guys!
So Jordan does have Asthma. Darned Texas weather! But he is still happy! The dr will tell us today if we need to continue his treatments. I really hope not!
So I am still looking for jobs, no rush but still looking!
So with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up.. I am in the charitable spirit.
I really want to give back. Cookies to Children's Hospital. Visit the elderly, etc.
Do you have any ideas of what I can do?

Thursday Nov 6

So I wanted to tell you about my current situation.
Daniel's Grandma, Lali died. RIP.
My heart and prayers are with all of you. I wish I was there more than you know!

My current job: sucks!
I have been unhappy for a little while and I need to make a change!
This is a good thing, I usually just sit in my slump until it is done.
I am now changing this! I am taking action of my problems and getting it fixed!
I am also going to start reading more. Brenda and I decided to start a bible study, which I have prayed for and here it is! We are going to meet every Wed night and share. I am too excited about this! Thanks Brenda!
So, I applied to like 30 jobs yesterday. When I start doing something I get carried away. So I did my usual overkill on craigslist and searched and searched. I thought I applied to every position available in Dallas yesterday but today there was ONE new one! And this is my dream job!
It is in Plano and meets all my requirements! A perfect fit! I already had a phone interview.
So cross your fingers for me! :)

Jordan is sick today and I am taking him to the Dr. at 5:30. I think he has asthma! He is weezing again.
Happy Birthday Karina!
So...I hope this blog helps me share more of my life with you all. I want to be closer to my family.
I check Nik and Noah's blogs everyday for updates and I feel so close to them this way. It is awesome! I hope I can do the same for you.
XOXO

Hi Friends and Family.
Jordan and I are getting old and I have gotten pretty bad at posting pictures.
So I am posting a blog for all of you to see our updates!
I promise to try my hardest to update as often as possible!
Love, Lydia

Happy Halloween!

Jordan and I had a great night.

We went to my cousin Lizette's house for trick or treating and family fun.

Jordan was Batman and has been waering his costume for 3 weeks now! I learned that you have to wait until close to the day to show them these. Duh!

So trick-or-treating to me was a huge deal when I was a kid. We would run as fast as we could to get as much candy as we could! Pillow cases and trashbags full!

Jordan was too cute, he gave me his bucket after it was about halfway full, I asked him, don't you want to get more candy? And he said, no, I want to Run! And he ran chasing the kids. He would wait patiently while the kids would go up and get their candy. When they came back and ran to the next house, he would get so excited to run with them. He is not a big fan of candy!Yeay teeth!
